SENIORS 20TH YEAR IN FULL SWING.

The season is well under way, with competitions galore -- the 2 monthly competitions, the singles and doubles knock - out and participation in Hertfordshire and National seniors competitions. There are also plans for special events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Seniors, with special matches against the main club and the ladies in June and July.

 

In addition, the seniors have already enjoyed 7 matches against other clubs, 4 away and 3 at home. The home record is good, with 2 wins and a draw, but the team has still to win away. This is the first year that the Seniors have entered the NAPGC seniors team event, and we were pleased to achieve a resounding  first round win -- the second round against Basildon is in early June.
