Unlike some Clubs, for
eligibility as a Senior at Little Hay members must be aged
60 or more.
Little Hay Golf Club has both
men and ladies in this category, but only male Seniors have
separate inter-Club matches
and mid-week competitions arranged for them, and also their
own Seniors’ Captain and
Vice-Captain.
Little Hay boasts well over
100 Senior members, of whom 60 or more enter the monthly
Medal and Stableford
competitions that are played on a Thursday, and during the
summer
months (April-September) the
Seniors play matches against 10 other Golf Clubs, both home
and away. Fun competitions
and ‘AwayDays’ at other courses also take place during the
year.
New members are always
welcome and, if needed, we will work with you to ensure that
you
receive an official handicap
as soon as possible. Tuition – whether from a PGA
Professional
and/or one of the PGA
Instructors – is available both for beginners and those
wishing to
improve their game through
the staff at the Little Hay Golf Complex.
We pride ourselves on being a
very friendly group of people so, if you are interested in
joining us or would like to
find out more, either contact Lance Redler (the Seniors’
Captain
for 2012) on (01442) 255061
or simply check out the Membership Information page of our
website for more details.
