Welcome to Little Hay Juniors’ Section.Little Hay
Juniors welcome all boys and girls under the age of 18 who would like to
develop their ability to play golf. In partnership with the Complex and
the coaches resident at the course, they arrange coaching, obtaining
handicaps, competitions, matches against other clubs and access to
coaching and competitions at county level -- and membership entry to
this range of events is available for £20.
A good starting point to junior golf is via
the Academy, which meets on Saturday
afternoons throughout the year, alternating between coaching sessions
and organised 9 -- hole competitions. More information about the Academy
is available at the course or by ringing 01442 833798.
2010 Results.
A full series of competitions were arranged in all school half -
terms and holidays, culminating in a win by James Moss in the junior
Championship in early September. Hamish Jarvie won the order of merit
for total performance throughout the year. Many juniors obtained and
then reduced their handicaps -- with participants aged from 9 to 17
years of age. The aim of playing enjoyable and competitive golf was
definitely achieved.

The competition plans for 2011 are on the left -- anyone wanting to

The club is also entered into the Hertfordshire Junior Golf League, and
will be lead by their captain, Alex Dukes.
